With enormous success it was performed the celebration of the 20th anniversary of The Strathclyde Executive MBA in Greece, organised by the Greek branch of the University of Strathclyde.

This year marks a hallmark for the University of Strathclyde Business School, since it celebrates its 50th anniversary of the Executive MBA delivery as well as its 20th anniversary in Greece (one of the 8 international centres of Strathclyde around the world). In this event, distinguished personalities of the academic, political and business communities delivered speeches during the reception held on Friday, December 9th, 2016 at AIGLI in ZAPOION Megaron.

The reception’s honorary guest speaker was the Executive Dean and Associate Principal of Strathclyde’s Business School Professor David Hillier, who was accompanied by the Executive Director of Strathclyde’s Post-experience Programs, Mr. Alan McIntyre.

During the event the following people delivered speeches: HE Deputy British Ambassador Andrew Staunton, Mr. Kostis Chatzidakis – Vice President of main opposition party New Democracy, Ex Minister and MP, Dr. George Gratsos, Ex President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping (HCS), Professor George Avlonitis, Professor of Marketing at the Athens University of Economics and President of the Greek Marketing Academy, and Mr. Dimosthenis Katsiyiannis (Ex Secretary General for the Environment and the Physical Planning, at the Ministry of Environment, Physical Planning & Public Works, Executive Management Advisor in J&P Avax).

After the speeches the President Mr. Panayiotis Milopoulos and the Vice President Mr. Nikitas Despotidis of the Hellenic Alumni Association handed to the Dean Prof. Hillier, the Executive Director Mr. McIntyre and the Director of the Greek Centre Ms A. Feredinou, a symbolic award for the celebration of the 20th years of continuous presence in Greece for the Executive MBA.
